It's always exciting, on New Years Eve, to look forward to a new year. A new year...filled with promise and hope. As we leave 2008, may we remember the blessings given and grow from the struggles. I want to slow down and take a breath to enjoy the wonderful things God has given me.
In our home during 2008...
- We were blessed with our little girl, this year.
- We were able to travel and spend time with our friends.
- We experienced stress with changes and uncertainty in Allen's company.
- We have grown closer to our church family.
- We endured a football season without a bowl game. It will get better!
- I shopped a lot with my Mom.
- Benjamin got to meet Lightening McQueen, at Disney. Priceless!
- Georgia-Kate went to her first Razorback game.
- I experienced the loss of a classmate: a talented and wonderful friend.
- Benjamin turned 3 years old.
- I spent many "Thursday Lunches" with Annie, as we solved the world's problems.
- I talked to my sister on the phone, nearly everyday.
- God protected Allen from injury when he wrecked his truck.
- We were blessed with good health within our family.
- Allen and I celebrated 7 years of marriage.(....or what Allen thinks is like 70 years!)
- We turned our library/office into a playroom...big adjustment for Allen and I.
- Allen played fantasy baseball and football.
- Benjamin actually talked to Santa.
- We enjoyed a fun and wonderful holiday season, with our friends and family.

That was great. I loved reading it and, of course, looking at the pictures. I hope you have a wonderful and blessed 2009
