This is part of the mission of the Children's Miracle Network: Children’s Miracle Network is a non-profit organization that raises funds for more than 170 children’s hospitals. Countless individuals, organizations and media partners unite with Children’s Miracle Network hospitals to help sick and injured kids in local communities.
Every child deserves the hope and healing of children’s hospitals. With the help of a Children’s Miracle Network hospital in their community, children of all ages and backgrounds can receive treatment for every imaginable disease and injury—from asthma and broken bones to cancer and heart defects. Children’s hospitals are also on the front lines of research, education and outreach programs that keep millions of kids out of the hospital each year. (as written on their website)

This morning, Melynda and I drove up to Springfield, Mo for the Children's Miracle Network's 5K at Cox Health. It was a beautiful morning. We ran with over 800 other runners. It was a huge event. We had a great time. Of course, after the race...we stopped at the mall for some shopping. What could be better than a good run, shopping and lunch...all with a great friend?!

I am posting on our Disney trip so hope you will stop by. Also, the June giveaway starts today...all comments left in June will be in the drawing for the "June Card Box"! You will have to go down a few posts to read about the monthly giveaway.
Happy Sunday!
You are just precious!! One day, I'm going to run a race near you so we can do it together!!! How fun!
I am so proud of you and Melynda!! Way to go, chickadees!! And, the shopping is right up there at the top!!! I am with you all the way! The races that support local and nat'l charities are some of my favorites to do. Let me know when you start talking half marathons and marathons! Myrtle Beach(cheaper than Disney!) has one of each, and it's as flat as a pancake! Lots of fun and you can shop 'til you drop!!
Hugs!!
Susan
Look at all of your running, way to go. That is a good cause to run for.
Good job! I say you deserve a girls' day out shopping after completing that 5k!!!!
