Our Day at Disney Hollywood Studios

Lightening and Mater

Breakfast with June

Dancing with Leo
Jojo with Benjamin

Playhouse Disney Live!

We went to breakfast at "Play and Dine" in Hollywood Studios. Benjamin was overwhelmed with excitement. The characters came by the table to see him and pose for a picture. The host sang songs and invited the kids so join them. Benjamin was so excited he could barely eat. Georgia-Kate slept through breakfast. She has been so good. We saw Jojo and Goliath, and June and Leo from the Little Einsteins. Tracy has a long time fear of clown...and Benjamin was quick to comfort her. "Aunt T, don't be scared." Perhaps, Allen coached him to say that for months before the trip. Benjamin remembered and didn't let him down.

After breakfast, we went over to see Playhouse Disney's Live show. That's a great interactive show with characters from Mickey Mouse Club House, The Little Einsteins, and Winnie the Pooh, and Handy Manny. Benjamin sat pretty still--so he must have like it. We were able to catch a few rides before the afternoon rain came. It rains a lot here in June. We stood under an umbrella a long time and waited out the storm. Yes, thunder and all. They cancelled the Block Party Parade. But, we were very thankful that the rain stopped so we could see Lightening McQueen and Mater. We were thankful not to take home a broken hearted little Benjamin. He was almost speechless when Lightening drove out. Allen was a good sport and waited in the line during the rain. Tracy and I entertained Benjamin while the "cast members" decided if the Cars were going to make an appearance.

We caught the boat back to the resort. For dinner, we returned to Hollywood Studios with Wachovia for a private dinner and viewing on the Indiana Jones Live stunt show. It was a little stressful. Georgia-Kate was and upset, we couldn't find any chairs, and a light caught fire during dinner. We finally found enough seats together just before the light caught on fire. And the rain returned. Wow~what an eventful night.

Tomorrow we are going to rest at the resort......
