Ice and Snow.....it is such a mess in NW Arkansas. We are so blessed...we just got our power back, this afternoon. Many homes and businesses are still without power~it may be days before they have power. The ice began on Monday afternoon. But, this morning...it was clear. Today, the sun is out. We lost a few trees. We are so blessed with good family and friends. My sweet sister has been checking on us, almost every hour, since the ice storm began. We spent the evening...at Lydia's, last night. We all sat in the glow of candles and flashlights. It was kinda cold...but we were in the good company of friends. We are so thankful to have a gas fireplace. Our house was really warm. So, the kids slept well.
When the power came back on...Benjamin danced around and said "We can watch TV and wash my underpants...YAY!" Yeah, I got behind on my laundry prior to the ice storm. So, he has been wearing pull-ups. Poor Little Guy!
And a huge praise...my parents made it back! They have been stranded at the Dallas/Ft.Worth airport since Monday morning. But, they are on the ground and waiting for their luggage.
When you pray, today.....Please remember the families, in our area that do not have power.

You guys were hit SO hard. I'm so sorry! I have thinking about all y'all so much! I'm glad you have power now! GK looks too cute in that toboggan!
I'm glad you have power!! We only lost it for 9 hours overnight Tuesday night. We feel so blessed to have it! We lost a tree too.
