I just got a new camera!!
I am so excited.
For Christmas, Allen game me a gift card to buy a new camera. I had been saving my money to purchase one. (I know...I know..he's the best...sorry girls, he doesn't have a brother!) We went out shopping, last Saturday. After stopping at a camera shop, a trip to Chucky Cheese and getting Allen a new phone....we purchased this camera:
The Canon Rebel xsi .
It was on sale and Allen got the manager to give us 10% off the sale price.
I am very excited and a little intimidated.

Yeah! That is a nice camera! You will love it, I'm sure. I hope you are feeling lots better. My camera broke a few weeks ago and I just got home from Sam's with a new one. I went with another point and shoot camera that is small enough to stick in my pocket if need be. But, one day I'm going to get one like yours! Can't wait to get my gift! I got mine done for my recipients and I'm going to mail them off next week.

Lucky Girl!!! I have a Nikon D50 that is about 4 years old, and I still don't know how to use its manual settings...so sad!

Marci, my husband gave me that same camera for Christmas. You will L-O-V-E it! You will start "collecting" accessories, like new lenses and flashes... Can't wait to see pictures!

My husband bought me and the xsi and I too love it. In the package I also received (much needed) photo classes. I'm just starting them. I only wish I had more time to practice!

Yeah for you! We have the same one, and I love it. However, I STILL don't know all its tricks yet.
Yeah! You will LOVE it. Don't be intimidated! At least with digital you can shoot and shoot again without wasting film. I've been a Canon girl since high school. They have such a great product and cleaning services.
