So, took this jar: {a recycled plastic jar from our pantry}
And created this: {A new home for the crayons}
I used decoupage glue, some scrapbook paper, stickers, a few buttons and some ribbon. I didn't even remove the old label. I placed the striped paper over it, cut a smaller brown paper and added the stickers. I covered the paper with the glue to seal and added the buttons. It was so easy....and the crayons have a new home. {I hope they return to their jar after use.}

Where in NW ARk are you? Are you near Ft. Smith? My geography may be way off!! Forgive me! Just wondering!!

The worst part of crayons taking over is when they are used on walls. I was able to keep my own kids coloring in coloring books or on sheets of paper, but at one day care center I ran the kids just could not leave the white walls undecorated. So, I got long rolls of blank newsprint from the local newspaper and covered the lower half of all the walls with it. Then, the kids could decorate to their hearts' content without damaging the walls.
Much cuter home than the floor!
This is such a cute idea!
