GO HOGS!

Football season is finally here. We love Saturdays in the Fall. We enjoy all Razorback sports...but, we love Razorback football. After the last game of the season, we begin the count down to the season opener.
That time of year has come...

  • Allen and I will be grateful as grandparents will take care of our children,
  • We will greet "our friends" who sit near that we said goodbye to at last season's end,
  • We will eat too much Kettle Corn,
  • Allen will act ugly, at least once, and yell from his seat-just in case the officials can hear him
  • I will find the cutest Razorback shirts to wear with my jeans,
  • We will call the Hogs and act like idiots when we score,
  • Most importantly, we will spend time together doing something we love.

Here's to another year of Razorback football....May we win!

Georgia-Kate is 6 months old.

What a difference 6 months makes in the life of a baby. Georgia-Kate is 6 months old. We adore and love her. May we raise her to be strong and independent, but love others more than herself. May she love the Lord with all her heart. May she always chase her dreams. Happy "6 months", Georgia-Kate.

Benjamin should NOT watch the news!

Did anyone see the news story last week about the plane that returned to LAX after leaving for Hawaii? Well, Benjamin did! And....we have talked about the "airplane at the airplane-port in California", everyday, since it happened. Yes, for those of you who remember the car and train wreck...Benjamin saw on the news....this is very similar.

Just one example:
Benjamin: What happened to that airplane at the airplane-port?
Me/Allen: It took off from California to go to Hawaii and had to turn around.
Benjamin: What happened to the engine?
Me/Allen: Maybe..the airplane needed a new one. The passengers are okay. The plane had some smoke inside and they had to get on a new plane.
Benjamin: And they rode the slide out of the airplane.
Me/Allen: Yes, they are all in Hawaii, now, at the beach.
Benjamin: What happened to the engine?

I'm not kidding....I bet we have had a similar conversation with Benjamin.....25 times since that news story broke. He just loves airplanes and the airport!

Benjamin's Birthday!

What a great week-end: Benjamin's 3rd Birthday. His birthday is August 1st. Today, we had a birthday pool party! He picked a "Nemo" party. We had a great time filled with friends, family, swimming and CAKE! Robyn Capps made the cake. We love Robyn at our house. She is the best cake designer. Plus, she always sends special treats! Benjamin received many, many gifts. But, we are mostly blessed with the people, who shared his special day with him.
