I *heart* The Biggest Loser

Yes, I do...I love The Biggest Loser. I have watched every season. However, this is my favorite season....I think. {I have enjoyed so many of the past seasons.} My favorite contestant, this season, is Tara. She is amazing! Tara has lost 99lbs in 12 weeks. That is crazy! She is so driven. AND...she gets to train with Jillian Michaels. Jillian is awesome. I am not much of a Bob Harper fan {gasp}...I know! I *HEART* Jillian. And...what woman doesn't want to look like Jillian. It is crazy how much these contestants lose. Of course, I know that they spend every day~working out with great trainers. However, they still have to work hard and eat right .
Tara at a weigh-in.

If you watch The Biggest Loser...you can't help but be inspired. Even if it's not weight loss or improving your health~that you chase...find something....some dream to chase. Just don't give up. If you have never watched the show...give it a try!

The dentist=a trip to Chuck E Cheese's

Today, Benjamin and I took a trip over to the dentist. He did much better than our last visit. He adored his dental hygentist~she was so good with him. She let him "help" with the polishing. SO Smart! She was so funny, too. She also taught him to floss. He was kinda excited about flossing. We stopped by Chuck E. Cheese to play and then to Target to buy Hot Wheels~because I promised! Whatever it takes...right?!

Showing off his clean teeth.

"Amazing Smile" Award!

Martha Stewart Living...

Like or Dislike? I just can't deciede. I used to Never~Never Ever miss an issue. Then...after many years I began to bore. My subscription ran out and I haven't picked an issue for a long time. But today, I flipped on the television and caught part of Martha's show. {it was kinda rare...to see any channel besides Disney or the Weather~but Benjamin was busy playing.} Today...Martha was featuring the magazine and it's "renewal"~brand new columns...fashion, wellness, food, ect...
I might pick up a copy...what do you think?!

Recession Fashion

Kelly over at Kelly's Korner ask us to share our favorite tips to dress-for-less. Well...yesterday, my friend Annie and I went out shopping. And we found~our new favorite store...Francesca Collections. ADORABLE! It looks like an expensive boutique. But they have great prices! Some of the girls in Annie's office recommended it....I am so glad we check it out.

I picked up this top/shirt for $34.00.
So Cute! I think it will be super cute with jeans.
{I also bought some earrings for $4.75....they were 75% off.}

I loved this dress! I didn't buy it. But LOVED it.

Annie picked up this dress for $30.00. It was a "pick of the week"~so it was 20% off. She tried it on with black capri leggings...So Cute!
She also found a really cute black cardigan.

Go over to their website and see if they have a location near you! You can also shop online.We have two locations near us...Rogers, AR and Branson, MO. They have jewelry, sunglasses {for 12.00} and bags, too.
They also carry gift items and wall decor.

We LOVE Francesca's!
We had a great day together shopping....and finding Francesca's was an added bonus! What is better than shopping~lunch~and a great store?!

Go over to Kelly's Korner and check out all the other great tips on Recession Fashion.

Out of the mouth of a 3 year old

Benjamin: Mama...Can we have some breakfest?
Me: Sure. Just let me finish my hair....and we will go downstairs.
Benjamin: Trust me, Mama...this is serious...I am starving.
{I guess...I was taking too long in the bathroom?}

Me: Benjamin, do you want to watch Disney?
Benjamin: No, I would like to watch the Weather Channel.
{Yes, he did. He is totally obsessed with the weather forcast, right now}

Aren't kids Funny?!

Going to Bootcamp...

Fitness Boot CampThis morning, I completed week 1 of Fitness Boot Camp. Courtney, my trainer, along with 2 other trainers are taking us on, this adventure. I am having a great time. The kiddos are staying with a sweet lady from church. They really like to be with her and playing with the other kids. What a blessing!~no worries about them while I am exercising.
I am learning a few things about myself:
1. I really do like to exercise.
2. I am even more competitive than I realized. Scary!

Today, we workout outdoors....it was nearly 70 degrees at 8AM! We did some hiking and strength training. It was a beautiful morning. We climbed and jogged up a mountain...it was hard...but totally worth it. At the top of the mountain...we could see for miles. It was a great reminder of the beauty of God's creation. We are so blessed...even in the midst of a crazy economic time~this morning was a great reminder of what a BIG God we serve.

Find rest, O my soul, in God alone;
my hope comes from him.
He alone is my rock and my salvation;
he is my fortress,
I will not be shaken.
Psalm 62:5-6

Have a great week-end.

I can barely wait to get back to Boot Camp, Monday AM. Crazy...I know!

Birthday Party Decor

Welcome to the Party~
The party favors...chocolate and pink (white chocolate) lollipops
I purchased the mold at Michael's. These are so easy to
make...melt the chocolate, pour in mold, and allow to dry. They popped right out ~I bagged them and added a bow {of course!}.
The Invitation...I adore these. I purchased these over at
She was so easy to work with and designed it, perfectly.
Go over and check out her website.
I found her website at the Tip Junkie's Mom-preneurs' shop.
My mom picked up the giraffes at Wal-Mart and I added the ribbon.

The Cake~It was so pretty! I loved the 'G' and the chocolate '1'. The top tier was chocolate and the bottom was white with strawberry filling.

The Menu~Mini Quiches, chocolate covered strawberries, cheese and crackers and strawberry cookies. I served punch, pink lemonade and iced tea.
The Flowers~I just picked up a few flowers at a flower shop and added the 'G' embellishment. I made most of the decorations with scrapbook paper, ribbon and my cricut machine.
The Birthday Girl's Chair~I found this boa and had to have it! I tapped it on and added the sign. I cut the letters on my criut machine and glittered the '1', added the bow and some flowers.

Georgia-Kate's Cake~She ate a little...but mostly played the icing.
She preferred the quiche!
The "Happy Birthday" Sign~ I couldn't really get a good
photo of the sign. I made a simple banner with her monogram,
to match the invitation.

Waiting on the guests!
Opening Presents.

Benjamin and JP.

Allen and the birthday girl.

Georgia-Kate and I.
I had to sit down.
I was so tired!~after staying up until 2am~finishing the decor and food....
A girl only has one "First Birthday" party, right?!

I hope you enjoyed the party!

Party Outfit.

I love this outfit! I think Georgia-Kate loved wearing it! She was in the best mood at her party, Saturday. I took so many photos~so I will only feature the outfit, today. I found the tutu on Etsy. I love Etsy...go here to check it out. I purchased the tutu from Frill'er Up Couture. Her slogan is "Turning an ordinary day into extraordinary". What a perfect slogan for this little tutu~It was perfect!

The bow~I love the ribbon.
Her outfit without the Tutu!
So Cute~

And...her Hat.
I didn't get a great picture of her
wearing the hat. It is adorable!

I took so many pictures~way too many for one post!
I will feature the decorations and cake tomorrow.
The Theme: Pink and Chocolate Brown with giraffe print.
